The Energy of Creativity

The Energy of Creativity

The Energy of Creativity

Creativity is not just an individual process; it is a universal force that connects all of existence. It is a dynamic pulse that reverberates throughout the universe, inviting us to tap into a deeper current of life and expression. Just as love emerges from the heart—never from the mind—so does creativity. It is an energy that exists far beyond the mind, beyond the realm of thought. When we open ourselves to creativity, we align with a frequency that transcends individuality, linking us to the greater consciousness of the cosmos, and that, in itself, is the art of creation. Whatever we call art might be anything—the art of healing, the art of cooking, the art of sex, or even the art of not giving a fuck. And that might be the most treasured form of art, one we often fail to find—either in art itself or in daily life. This energy flows through everything, from the vast universe to the smallest particles within us, waiting for us to channel its power into tangible form.

Most people view creativity through a single prism: passion. But passion doesn’t drive creativity. Passion is just a tool, an extension, or perhaps a loving force for creativity that pushes us to the point where we cannot do otherwise. It’s an expression of love for the creative process itself, not the sole driver behind it. Similarly, obsession plays a role. Obsession isn’t a negative force—it’s a necessary obsession with the process of creating, where everything else fades into the background, leaving us solely focused on the act of bringing something into existence. It’s the kind of obsession that makes us feel incomplete without creating, like a force of nature driving us to create no matter what. However, passion and obsession are not products of neurochemical processes within the mind. They simply make the mind more pleasurable, rewarding, and habituable.

The purest and rawest foundation of creativity comes from a place far beyond the interplay of our brain's left and right hemispheres—one hemisphere linked to logic, the other to intuition and creativity. However, this is not the true source of creativity. What we often call creativity in this context is a static structure embedded within our systems, primarily reactive and rooted in the unexplored parts of our unconscious mind. This part of the psyche doesn’t create on its own; it simply reacts. The true force and structure of creativity, however, exist outside of us, beyond the mind's functions or energy centers such as the Sacral Chakra, which are merely receptors. The energetic tracing of creativity in a human being might go like this: Cosmos, Sacral Chakra, Right Hemisphere of the Brain. In other words, creativity is never a product of the mind itself. You will never find Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers in the chunks of his brain.

The Universal Language of Creation

Creativity speaks the universal language of the cosmos. It flows freely, uninhibited by time and space, and takes countless forms—from the brushstroke of an artist to the sounds of a musician's composition. Creativity is not bound by physical laws; it is pure energy in motion, effortlessly shaping reality and allowing new possibilities to arise. It is the spark that ignites new ideas and the force that pushes us to evolve. Just as the brushstroke of an artist creates a work of art, the union of sperm and egg sparks the creation of life itself. Both are powerful expressions of the creative force that moves through us all, continuously shaping and reshaping the world we live in.

Creativity, like the universe itself, is infinite and ever-expanding. It is the pulse that drives all creation, and it manifests in every aspect of life. Whether we are painting, writing, or simply breathing, creativity flows in every moment, carrying us toward our highest expression of being.

Creation Beyond Time and Space

Creativity is not confined to the laws of the physical world. It exists in a timeless and spaceless realm, free from the limitations of past, present, and future. It is a constant, ever-present force that flows through everything, continuously bringing new expressions into being. Just as the universe is always expanding, so too is creativity. It is boundless, fluid, and ever-changing, moving beyond the limits of form and structure.

Great composers, artists, and thinkers are often deeply attuned to this timeless flow of creative energy. Take Beethoven, for example—one of history's greatest composers. In the later years of his life, as he lost his hearing, Beethoven continued to create profound symphonies. The music he composed did not originate from conscious thought or auditory sensory input, but rather from deeper neural processes linked to the intelligence of the heart, where creativity and intuition intertwine, transcending the need for external stimulation. Or simply said, it came from within, not from the outside.

The Frequency of Creativity

Creativity operates on specific frequencies—vibrations that align with the energy of the universe. These frequencies are not just metaphysical but measurable, existing within the spectrum of energy and vibration that permeates everything. The human brain, when fully immersed in creative thought, operates at frequencies between 8 Hz to 13 Hz in what is known as the "alpha wave" state. This state is associated with relaxation, calm, and heightened creativity, as it is a frequency in which we are open to new ideas and receptive to intuitive insights.

In fact, creative expression often feels like a form of meditation. Both creativity and meditation involve entering a peaceful, receptive state where the mind quiets and the flow of ideas can freely emerge. Just like meditation allows us to connect with the present moment, creativity allows us to channel our most profound dreams, unencumbered by the constraints of the ego. In both states, we align with a higher frequency—one that connects us to the flow of universal energy. When we embrace creativity in this way, we reconnect with the infinite possibilities of life, millions of highways with no dead-end streets, just as a meditator reconnects with deep peace through breathing.

When we are truly in the flow of creativity, we become attuned to the energetic pulse of the universe. We become conduits for the creative force that exists beyond time and space. In this state, we are one with the creative energies that govern existence, allowing us to express freely without fear or resistance. Creativity, like meditation, requires surrender to the moment, a peaceful openness that allows inspiration to arise.

Dreamers and the Universal Flow

Throughout history, countless dreamers—artists, musicians, poets, and many more—have tapped into the universal flow of creativity. These individuals weren’t just expressing their personal experiences; they were tapping into a deeper, universal energy that connects all of existence. Creators like Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Charles Bukowski, and countless other visionaries accessed a flow of inspiration that goes beyond individual thought, drawing from a source that transcends time and space.

Picasso, besides being a great businessman and one of the greatest artists of the 20th century, once said, "It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child." This statement highlights that true creativity comes from a place of unfiltered imagination—the kind of freedom children have before the world teaches them limits. Picasso wasn’t merely reflecting on his childhood, but recognizing that the essence of creativity is in that raw, untamed part of the mind, where boundaries and expectations haven’t yet been imposed.

Picasso’s creative genius wasn’t just in his ability to sell his paintings much more aggressively, without shame or fear, compared to his more humble rivals, for instance, Amedeo Modigliani. It was in his profound connection to the playfulness of the inner child within. His genius came from his ability to embrace creativity in its most pure, uninhibited form—where imagination flows freely and without restriction. Picasso understood that creativity isn’t just about technique or style, but about reconnecting with that childlike wonder and playfulness that leads to new, revolutionary ideas.

The same energy that drives a child’s imagination is what fuels all true creativity. As we grow older, we tend to lose touch with it—becoming more concerned with rules, logic, and the fear of judgment. Picasso, though, was able to recapture that unspoiled creativity, and that’s where his breakthroughs emerged from. It’s not about regressing to childhood, but about reawakening that pure energy, free from limitations.

Creativity and the Rebel Spirit

Charles Bukowski, known for his raw, unapologetic writing, shared a similar belief in the purity of creation. He once said, “An artist is somebody who produces things that people don’t need to buy.” Bukowski saw creativity as a force that went beyond societal norms and expectations—it was about speaking from an unfiltered place, about creation for the sake of creation. His words remind us that creativity is often about rejecting the external pressures and allowing the natural flow of expression to guide us.

Salvador Dalí, too, captured this essence in his creative process. He famously said, “I don’t do drugs. I am drugs.” Dalí’s surrealist work was a vivid manifestation of the subconscious mind, where dreams and reality collided. He often described his creative process as surrendering to the subconscious, accessing a realm that exists beyond conventional perception. Dalí’s approach to creativity, much like Picasso’s, was about freeing the mind from its limitations and allowing the universe to speak through him.

Creativity isn’t an intellectual process—it’s a return to the raw, flowing energy of life itself. It’s about tapping into the same source that drives us to dream, to play, to explore, and to create without inhibition. Every creative act—whether it’s a brushstroke, a song, or a poem—is an invitation to reconnect with this universal flow. When we allow ourselves to create from that space, free from constraints and expectations, we tap into something larger than ourselves. Creativity, in its most unapologetic form, never asks for permission to express—it simply flows, raw and unfiltered

Creativity is for Everyone

Creativity is not an exclusive gift for a select few—it exists in every single person, waiting to be tapped into. As we grow older, we might lose touch with it, but the truth is that we all have the potential to express creatively, whether in art, music, writing, or simply in the way we live our lives. However, there is a difference between those who embrace this creative flow and those who do not.

The world has witnessed countless examples of individuals who, in the midst of their daily lives, have been inspired to create. Prince, Michael Jackson, and many others have spoken about the creative impulses that came to them in the middle of the night. They would get up, scribble down their ideas, and capture them before the flow could escape. This is the true essence of creativity—the willingness to step into the flow, to recognize the vortex of energy, and act upon it when it appears.

Creativity, like life itself, only makes sense when we are fully present in the moment. It is in the here and now that we allow the energy of creation to flow through us, giving life to our deepest expressions. The creative impulse is fleeting, and if we don't catch it in time, it moves on to someone else. It’s the dreamers—the ones who act when the idea strikes, the ones who are willing to get up and engage with the creative flow—that leave their mark on the world. In the end, creativity comes from the heart, not the mind. It is a beautiful, present moment energy that transcends time and space, pulling us into a deeper connection with the universe.
